A research group of the Protocol Institute. We study how organizations coordinate through protocols, and what changes as AI agents join the work.

What we do

Sessions
Every other Monday we meet to read one primary source closely, together. The reading plan grows with what participants bring.
Research
In 2027 we study AI-native data operations, meaning how organizations run when AI agents do much of the work. Members are encouraged to complete a case study during the year.
Training
We train protocol vision, the capability to see the protocols a business runs on, through protocol watching, workshops and simulations.
